A concert that traces Boyd McDonald’s artistic journey from Saskatoon to Paris, and showcases the French composers who have influenced his remarkable, 8-decade long career. Special tributes will be made to his mentors, the composers Nadia Boulanger and Darius Milhaud. The concert will also celebrate the 100th birthday of the internationally renowned, Saskatoon-based artist Eli Bornstein, who met up with Boyd many times on his artistic journey from Saskatoon to Paris.       Â
