Juno and Grammy Award-winning pianist, composer, arranger, and musical director of remarkable virtuosity, Hilario Durán, is well recognized for his piano playing and composing skills. The music to be performed by this Orchestra blends milieus and motifs of the classic Cuban musical form, American standards, and the arrangement of the Frédéric Chopin composition Fantasia Impromptu. The music has been influenced by most of the traditional forms of Cuban music and the most modern contemporary harmonies.
