Multiple award-winning francophone singer Mélisande makes her first visit to The Registry. On her 2024 (CFMA nominated) album, Rembobine (Rewind), Mélisande revisits traditional songs from her first 4 recordings in authentic Québécois style. Accompanied by 4 seasoned musicians, including Alexandre de Grosbois-Garand of Genticorum, and featuring fiddle, flute, guitars, mandolin, and percussion, the result is a high-energy sound with strong vocal harmonies woven around Mélisande’s infectious lead vocals. Her rich musical background and her mesmerizing voice give a fresh take on these traditional songs. Mélisande gets the crowd stomping, dancing, and singing wherever she goes.
