DESCRIPTION:Presented by Grand River Opera\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin GRO for this classic opera by Engelbert Humperdinck\, based on the Grimm Brothers’ fairy tale. \n\n\n\nSung in a contemporary English translation by Kathleen Kelly\, accompanied by Charmaine Fopoussi on piano\, and featuring local singing talent from Waterloo Region as soloists and children’s chorus.  \n\n\n\nThe production addresses issues that affect our community currently: poverty\, food insecurity\, environmental issues (litter\, recycling\, waste management). DESCRIPTION:Presented by Green Gables Ukuleles and Friends\n\n\n\nJoin Green Gables Ukuleles & Friends for their second community singalong/playalong to raise funds for the Registry Theatre.  The setlist includes songs by Peter Paul & Mary\, the Beatles\, Leonard Cohen\, The Lovin’ Spoonful\, Elvis\, Bob Dylan\, CCR\, ABBA\, Joni Mitchell\, Gordon Lightfoot\, and many more.  Lyrics and chords will be displayed on a screen behind the group to make it easy to participate\, and of course you can simply bask in the community joy. \n\n\n\n\n\nTickets: Pay what you can \n\n\n\nReservations are now closed\, but tickets will still be available at the door!
