In 2024\, he was honoured by the president of Portugal as one of the 70 most significant Portuguese Canadians of the past 70 years\, highlighting his impact and influence.  \n\n\n\nHis albums\, “Pot Comic” and “Child of the 90s\,” have earned him the title “Voice of a Generation” for their humorous and timeless perspectives on life. Armed with his unyielding spirit\, a hilarious culture clash ensues as Dimitri navigates auditions\, casting directors\, and eccentric Hollywood characters\, proving that dreams can be as unpredictable and entertaining as life itself! \n\n\n\nDimitri Goes To Hollywood was originally optioned as a feature film script in Los Angeles by a major production house but writer and creator Jimmy Chimarios decided to pump the brakes on taking it any further as a feature film due to creative differences with the studios. Instead Jimmy decided to take matters into his own hands and bring this original story to life with the help of the incredible theatre community in Kitchener\, Ontario! If you laughed yourself silly with Nia Vardalos in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” or with Balki Bartokomous in the 90’s Sitcom “Perfect Strangers”\, then you’ll be sure to enjoy this hilarious romantic comedy!!  \n\n\n\n“You can take the Greek out of the village\, but you can’t take the village out of the Greek!
