SUMMARY:POWDERFINGER: A Tribute To Neil Young
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Jay Carraro\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA celebration of the legendary Neil Young’s birthday with a tribute to his timeless catalogue! \n\n\n\nJay Carraro features the songs we’re all familiar with as he travels through Neil’s songbook with precision and admiration for the different styles that he wrote in. The show is an adventure through the soft folk & country music that Neil Young created with the “Harvest” sound in mind\, and also the loud rockin’ classics that popularized him on FM rock radio stations for decades. \n\n\n\n“Its that voice Carraro looks to emulate\, taking a note-for-note target seriously in recreating Young’s guitar work… clearly showing a passion for the material.” – Steve Kannon (Woolwich Observer) \n\n\n\nJoined on stage by fellow musicians Jonny Sauder (Elliot & The Audio Kings\, The Crazy Diamonds)\, Scott Fitzpatrick (Stoney Lonesome\, Elliot & The Audio Kings)\, Chris Dallan (Electric Gas)\, Ed Ringwald (Gordon Lightfoot\, Western Swing Authority) and Wendy Carraro (The Divines\, The Crazy Diamonds). \n\n\n\nAlso featuring the sweet vocal harmonies of Crosby\, Stills & Nash\, performed by “Carry On” (Jesse Webber\, Craig McNair & Ryan Brohman). \n\n\n\nTickets: $29

SUMMARY:PUFFS: Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Playful Fox Productions\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlayful Fox Productions is heading to a certain school of magic and magic this November as we present to you: PUFFS \n\n\n\nFor seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This\, however\, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs… who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world. \n\n\n\nThe New York Times proclaims Puffs “A fast-paced romp through the ‘Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.’ For Potterphiliacs who grew up alongside Potter and are eager to revisit that world\, Puffs exudes a jovial\, winking fondness for all things Harry!” \n\n\n\nThis clever and inventive play “never goes more than a minute without a laugh” (Nerdist) giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs\, a group of well-meaning\, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers “who are so lovable and relatable\, you’ll leave the theater wishing they were in the stories all along” (Hollywood Life). Their “hilariously heartfelt!” (Metro) and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be. \n\n\n\n*** Matinee performances are “kid – friendly” – we strongly suggest taking your young witches and wizards to those times*** \n\n\n\nFor those older witches and wizards (teens and adults) evening performances will include some foul language and minor sexual innuendo/adult themes. If you’re in the mood for some adult humour\, we suggest coming to our evening performances! \n\n\n\nPuffs is proudly sponsored by: Jackie McDonald Home Sales Please note: Puffs is licensed through special arrangement by Samuel French Inc & Concord Theatricals. \n\n\n\nPuffs is not authorized\, sanctioned\, licensed or endorsed by J.K Rowling\, Warner Bros. or any person or company associated with the Harry Potter books\, films or play. \n\n\n\nConcessions will be available at the door (cash only please) Costumes and wands encouraged! \n\n\n\nEstimated Run Time: 2.5 hours (includes 15-minute intermission) \n\n\n\n\n\nTickets: \n\n\n\nGeneral Admission – $30 (plus taxes and fees) Student/Senior – $25 (plus taxes and fees) Child 12 and under – $20 (plus taxes and fees) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease follow us on Facebook and Instagram : @playfulfoxproductions
