Boyd McDonald Celebration Concert
Live at The Registry Theatre
A man and his music. The renowned fortepianist, composer, and music professor emeritus from Wilfrid Laurier University will be celebrated by some of our community’s finest musicians, including the Penderecki String Quartet, trumpeter Guy Few, and accordionist Joseph Petric. The concert includes a world premiere of a composition by Boyd. In addition, Kitchener native Nick Storring has composed a brand-new sextet which will receive its world premiere performed by Boyd on fortepiano, the Penderecki String Quartet, and accordionist Joseph Petric.
